Winter Storage
The outside temperature is starting to drop and the frost is collecting on the pumpkin which could only mean one thing... It’s time to start thinking about protecting your ride for the winter. Let the professionals at Loki Powersports give you peace of mind this winter with our Winter Storage Program.Here is what you can expect when you trust your motorcycle or scooter to us:
When the machine arrives we will perform a thorough evaluation of all systems including but not limited to, the brakes, exhaust, suspension, electrical charging system, & tires. Upon completion of the inspection we will discuss our findings with you.Any work that needs to be done can be completed while the vehicle is here for winter storage. All parts & accessories that are purchased while in the winter storage program will receive a 20% discount.
All bikes will be treated with a fuel stabilizer
A high quality Stabilizer keeps fuel from deteriorating during storage. It also reduces the oxidation process and prevents varnish and gum buildup in gasoline, which can clog injectors, carburetor jets, stick floats and cause poor engine performance. An effective way to prevent performance related issues caused by ethanol, water and dirty pump gas.All batteries will be trickle charged using state of the art charging stations. 5 Stage charge cycle that constantly monitors the battery and charges as needed. This system removes sulfating thus extending battery life.
Prior to pick-up, all bikes will receive the following:
- Oil & Filter replacement
- Set tire pressures
- New York State Inspection
- Wash
- Top off all fluids
- Fresh fuel
All Motorcycles & scooters will be kept indoors, in a climate controlled, secured & alarmed environment.
Winter storage runs from 11/01/12 to 04/15/2013. All bikes not picked up by April 29, 2013 will be subject to additional storage charges of $6.00 per day.

Prices are as follows:
Scooters $359.00 & Motorcycles $429.00. That’s less than $3.00 dollars per day on average! A 50% deposit is required when you leave your bike with the balance to be paid at pickup.
